Well, it turned out that of the 4 of us signed up for the meet, one didn't make it due to traffic and one was too late to make the movie (but met up after the movie.)

I have to say, the first 15 min of the movie, I kinda wanted to walk out too. The beginning is a little awkward and hard to follow. I gave it a chance and it got better, and then it got really good. It's far from perfect, but that's OK because it IS just cool. The visuals were AMAZING, the "racing" was fun to watch, and overall I REALLY enjoyed the movie. Seeing it in IMAX was EXTREMELY cool.

After the movie we met up with Andy and cruised lower wacker. Apparently the design of the road makes the exhaust reverberate off the walls. Who knew?



You guys missed a GREAT time!

 

I got some footage of said lower wacker run. Once I get my desktop computer set up in my new apt, I'll try to edit something up.
