I was thinking "moron" for the 'not coming in out of the rain' aspect alone.

I think the distance is an issue for a lot of people. We have people bitch about driving ~30mins to a meet.

It may not be that the drive "to the event" is too long, but possibly that "long drive" home after a really big/fun day is often something most would rather avoid. Some clubs did their carvans to these events with a breakfast "meet" to catch those that wanted to get together but could not commit to the full drive/event.

Nothing personal Fred - just got too much going on in my life right now for weekends away. ALL my time is allocated. Its unfortunate because this one sounds like fun too. Maybe next year
