I'd like to see the Tech Day as soon as the weather gets nice when all the stored S2000s come out and need fluid change. I did choose "all the above" though because I wouldn't mind doing all those things either.

On a side note, we really need this freezing weather to stop. I hate it.

Social, and cruse/show (which could be grouped into one imo) are my top choices. Theres not to many S owners around iowa, so it would be nice to get out and meet everyone.

Tech days are nice, but i dont do much to my car except reg maintenance, and its a long way to drive out of Iowa just to do that with some other people. I do like the idea of a joint track day with another group. Maybe the itr, bmw, or mini folks?

Freezing weather and snow definitely needs to stop. I get nauseous just thinking about it!

I also choose all of the above since I believe having a variety of everything would be beneficial to our community. Having meets at different locations and new places would be ideal as well. It would be great to see a tech day as a spring opener just so everyone can prepare their cars for the wondrous upcoming events throughout the seasons.

I will be up for anything, as I have not been to any meets yet. I would love to get into autox, and the only track days I have been to have been at Gingerman. Agreement all around on the cold weather stopping. I know the S hates me already.

I voted for more Tech Days / BBQ Meets.

Those are by far my favorite because it's about both the people and the cars. However I do enjoy all the other options too. Track days are probably the most fun, but also the most expensive (well at least for me... I always seem to have a long list of repairs needed afterworlds haha but that is just because I am an inexperienced driver we is more than happy pushing my car beyond its limits/ my limits and beating my car )

I would be more than happy to have BBQ/tech meets at my house any time however I highly doubt many people would want to drive this far?? (Appleton, WI) <-- what are your thoughts on that?

I am hoping for summer of 2008 to be a big year What I mean is lots of meets / events!! Really looking forward to driving my car more this year. Last year it seems as though I never even drove it.

And as far as all the AutoX's go even if I don't run in them it is alwasy fun to just go watch. So I plan to do much more of that too.

I'd go to a meet in Appleton if the previous or next day there was a track day in Shawano. I'll get those dates posted up in the calendar eventually and then maybe you (Greg) can work something out.

Speaking of 'sconsin, I think a trip out to watch some races at Road America (or even Mid-Ohio) would be fun. We could camp out for the American Le Mans series / Champ car / IndyCar* races or even just the June sprints. To bad no F1 in Indy this year . Road trip to Canadia anyone?

*anyone know if IRL and Champ car are merging this year or next and if they'll run at RA?

Pat,

BRIC and LeMans is definitely on my list this year at Road America. If it turns into an UMW S2Ki thing, even better!

I'll start organizing it....maybe we can get an official S2000/Honda parking patch (next to the MG or the Viper patch). They seem to have all the great spots on the track staked out.
