This took me and my friend 2 days to do this. Recommend you read the manual carefully if you are following along with it. If not, have someone who has done it before around.
There are some sketchy things you have to do with the subframe to get at the top transmission bolts. If you are only paying $400 for someone to do it, I would let them as that sounds like a hell of a deal.
Then again, now that I have done it once, I would imagine I could do it again within 6-8 hours.
There are two jackstands on the front frame rails.

That being said, it's good you pointed that out. Working under a car is a serious safety risk, so I hope everyone in our community uses proper protocol and ONLY works under a car that is not only on jackstands, but also has a second line of defense (IE: wheels on their sides under the frame rails) should the car fall off the stands.
