The guys at 3ballsracing.com are hosting a track day at Waterford Hills on June 20th. There are only a few people signed up as of today, so there are plenty of open spots. Wow, I so want to be there but I heard Waterford is NOT the ideal place for newbies.
I've never been to a track before, and that recent R8 crash scares me.

Sounds like fun. to the 3 balls guys. Their events come with food! I'd go, but I'm trying to hit up MAM the following week. We'll see though as Waterford is a lot closer.

 

Unfortunately, the Waterford event is not open to first-timers. I would agree that Waterford is probably not the best place for a first time out at the track. 3balls has an event scheduled at Grattan on July 26. That would be a great place for a beginner.

Right now only 10 or so people are signed up for the June 20th event -- you will get tons of track time. I would love to see another S2k there.

No problem. You should check out 3ballsracing.com. They do have instructors available at every event.

Waterford hills is not too far from where I live.. I should go check out what it's like to be at track.
