Hey all,

Managed to have this mod performed about 2 weeks ago....haven't driven yet due to the weather.

Sounds pretty clean for the most part, attached is a short video.

Will get some more once these roads are cleaned up! (Salt)

TofuProductions has it done, look up his profile, he has a youtube video. I heard it in person and it does sound quite good!

I had the weld hangers of my exhaust reinforced by this guy in Joliet who work out of his garage. He seems to be very good with metal work and welding. He does custom welding work for cars (mostly older american muscle car). I did talk to him about the UK exhaust mod since I know a few of your guys here are interested, and he said he will be able to do it. I'm not sure how much it cost out there and I'm not sure if his price is reasonable, he quoted me $200 if you drop off the exhaust only or $300 if you drop off the car. Price include material and labor. Another cheaper option he provided is deleting the muffler (chopping the muffler off and weld on a straight pipe), which will cost less than $100 labor and material.

He's a really nice guy and seems to know what he's doing as he has been doing this since high school. Please PM me if you need his contact information.

He did it after I posted that but glad to hear it sounds good in person. I don't think I'm brave enough to do it without hearing it in person first. Maybe I will run into one of you guys at an event or something.

You're more than welcome to meet up with me on the weekends to hear it.

* for anyone who wants this done, I have a guy located near me who does it real well, and uses stainless steel, not aluminum, turnaround time, an hour and a half or so. Owns his own shop, I'll refer you to him if anyone is interested, vouch for him and the rest of his teams' craftsmanship.
