Default UK Exhaust Mod... Any UMW Owners Done This?

Have any of you Upper Mid-Westerners done this mod? Thinking about doing this to my stock AP2 and would love to hear one in person. Seems like a cool & inexpensive mod if you want a little louder/sportier exhaust note without going aftermarket. It doesn't sound ricey to me and apparently doesn't drone.

Here is a thread with sound clips https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/977...mod-on-my-ap1/

And here's the original thread from the UK forum https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/944056-exhaust-mod/

I just had my resonator chopped out. Cost $40 at an exhaust shop. Not a mind blowing change, but a cheap way to add a little noise.

I've since added a Berk HFC and am very happy with the sound.

I did this as well and was pleased with the results for the money. Maybe the two in combination would produce really sweet results for cheap?

Yeah, but you still have the factory routing, too, so I doubt it's any worse flow than OEM. That far back, I don't think additional turbulence in the flow would affect performance.

You gutted a CR. Muffler before didn't you? How did that sound? I imagine it would sound very similar.

Out of all the videos I've watched, the 38mm pipe sounds the best to me. 44mm sounds to raspy/rattley. Smaller than 38mm just isn't loud enough. Personal preference though.
