I have court next week and looking for a good lawyer to help out with a speeding case...

anyone here have recommendations? I really dont want to just choose a random out of the yellow book or google...

no point in using a lawyer my brother did it got him supervision but then you have to pay multiple fees in cook county on top of paying a lawyer....my brother paid 100 for the lawyer then had to pay over 200 to be on supervision for 6 months

^ I had a similar experience last spring with an Evanston (Cook County) ticket. Ended up paying the lawyer plus court fees (that were more than the ticket, IIRC). Versus my experience a number of years ago with a lawyer handling a ticket from the IL state police, where he made it go away entirely, and I just paid his fee.

If this was your first ticket in the last 12mo, did you not have the option to take the online drivers education class?

i believe i am still on supervision from my last ticket thus the appeal of having a lawyer.

The thing is if i do traffic school there is a cost of that on top of mandatory supervision cost and court processing cost.
If i get a lawyer i dont have to do traffic school so i dont have to pay for that..

this guy is very highly recommended. never used him myself but from what i hear, he has done many many chicagoland car enthusiasts/speeders good things.
