Default Track Day in Shawano - Apr 29

So one of my friends invited me to a track day up in Wisconsin the week after the dragon. I haven't completely confirmed whether or not I will attend.

The event is being held at USA International Raceway in Shawano, WI

Fox Valley Sports Car Club

I am also checking to verify our roll hoop requirements.

You can check the auto event info here.

Morning event at Shawano

The cost is $65 and you're supposed to get an hour of track time from 9-1, or afternoon session.

4 run groups and 7 cars per group. total of 28 people max.

Just throwing it up here since people may or may not be interested.

Just to let you know, this is technically a kart track, but the same auto-x track rules apply. So this is obviously much smaller scale then say a full track day at a large track etc.... etc.. But for a newb like me this might be a good start.

But yeah, if anyone is interested, theres the info...

Fun track I have ran it 3 times last summer .... No need to check on the roll hoops. You can run the S2000 there NO PROBLEM!

any questions just let me know.

Here is a map of what you will be running... (i have videos too)

nope not much run off ... there are spots you could slide into trees(they might have fences in front of the trees now), fences, and buildings and yes its a very narrow track......If you have ever seen the damage to the front of my car, it was from this track

however it is pretty much all cornering only 2 short strait aways where you just hit 3rd gear then your back on the brakes.

very fun track .. you will have a blast

I will be going to that track a couple times this year ... just not that weekend because it's so close to the Dragon....they run there every couple weeks.
