Default Thur. 4/15/10 Brickhouse "Tax Evasion" Meet!

So it sounds / looks like we've had two pretty solid Thursday meets in a row, I've decided to host this meet because of the following:
A: I can't park my car in my garage until later that night due to garage cleaning
B: I work really close to this Brickhouse
C: The UMW has yet to raid this Brickhouse
D: The wait staff at this Brickhouse is more attractive than the one in Downers Grove (based on my personal research and opinion)
E: Thursday is supposed to be the warmest day of the week next week
F: Possibly the last UMW meet before WTD
G: It's a friggin' Brickhouse meet

That being said, here are the details you need to know:

Brick House Tap & Tavern‎
5650 West Touhy Avenue, Niles, IL 60714-4001
(847) 588-2604‎

MAP FOUND HERE

There's tons of parking as it is in a large shopping area, so while we MAY NOT be able to find parking immediately surrounding the restaurant, I'll (or whoever shows up first) try to find a spot with plenty of room in the nearby lot. Also, please try to bring cash, preferably with plenty of smaller bills! It helps simplify things a lot. I won't plan on making reservations unless this list completely explodes.

Let me know if timing needs to be adjusted, maybe half-hour after my posted times?

Arrival time: 6:00pm-6:30pm
Initial parking lot pimp: 6:30pm-7:00pm
Eat and stare at the waitresses: 7:00pm-??(I'm guessing 8:00-8:30pm)
Potential cruise back into the city: ??-???? (I've gotta head that way anyway)

Now lets get this list going!

I have also added to the event calendar as the "Tax Evasion" meet, since that is Tax day.

is this brickhouse located on the side of Touhy with the Buy More, or the other side with Large Mart?

It's on the North side, which I believe would be the large mart, but I have yet to shop there so I'm not 100% sure on that.

Pete, brilliant idea with the "Tax Evasion" meet... I'll edit the thread title.

By the way, does anyone have pictures from previous Brickhouse meets to show those who have never been? I'll try to see if I have any over the weekend.

according to the yelp reviews, there's an outdoor seating area with fire pit. would it be worth looking into reserving space out there?

I wouldn't mind the outdoor seating to enjoy the weather, but you do get to see more of the wait staff inside.

I won't make reservations unless we get a sizable list signed up. You in, Phil?

i wasn't sure if maybe the waitstaff hung out near the firepit outside vs at the one in downers grove they tended to congreate near the fireplace inside towards the front.

i am not positive that i can make it yet, but hope to.

Gotcha, well while I was there they were all congregating inside, and that was on a pretty nice day.
