Like anyone is going to sift through those posts.

The main one where I ragged on KMS was true, no one really provided any solid info that Mugen parts were just so great for performance.

BTW, for reference, KMS invited me out for a free alignment and corner weighting when I got there, I told them just to do an alignment, since the S is stock, when it was all done they charged me 75$ and when I asked for a print out he gave me a piece of paper with half the numbers on it.

So I am done with them.

I could have gotten a better cheaper job done locally.

You can't blame me, every test every article I have ever seen has never shown any more than a 15 HP gain from any Mugen part, even the article by car and driver on an S2000 upgraded with over 20,000 in Mugen parts and labor, it is just not worth it.

they said it sounded good. big deal.
You keep bringing it up, not me. You are putting me on the defensive and you never provided me with any facts other than taking a ride.

Both you and Jahnkes dynos sucked balls. And that was all the proof I needed.

And all this Bullshit aside, seriously, Urmils and Jahnke's cars look great, very clean, and aside from the decals I would say they are some of the nicest cars I have seen.

So take that for what it is worth. i never said they look bad, just that the Mugen parts are extremely over rated in terms of performance gains for the dollar.

i keep trying to post in this thread but end up deleting what i type....

all I can say is that i truly feel that everyones PERSONAL preferences and opinions need to be respected. "over-ratedness" is subjective and is obviously not an opinion that Charlie and Urmil share with you Matt.

Let it go

Since I've never met anyone on this UWM forum except for Urmil, I would like to add my worthless opinion about this 8th grade quarrel..................

Mr D is trying to hold his stance. What is happening is he is digging a deeper hole for himself and now he cannot shovel out any more dirt over the hole so all the dirt is now falling onto himself..............what he needs to do is have someone drop him a ladder so that he can climb out of the rat hole.........suggestion from an outsider would be, just calm down and stop the retaliation.....the army on the other side has the advantage and he will get shot down. His best bet is to lie low for sometime and let the grounds clear and maybe people won't tie his abrasive persona with his kindness and usual comments.

I think Mr.D makes good comments, but at times he needs to undestand that everyone interests are different and it may lead up to things like "Mugen parts over #$^#$^ parts ?" Who cares............our cars aren't no 05' vette or 911 and all the mods people do to their car are more for self-fullfillment than having the fastest car around......personally I wouldn't do anything more than some body mods and leave the mechanics alone, but at the same time I respect everyone who wants to make mods to their car to personalize it more, make it faster, etc.........Mr. D should have realized that when someone make changes to his/her property.......regardless of what is said about it, it will be considered an insult. The best thing to do in that position is to say..........."nice work"......I think you did a great job. Which to the person who made those mods, was assuming he/she made the right choice in the first place....why else would he/she make those mods........so this becomes a moot argument..........

.........damn, I really bored at work today.............

anyways,
I don't think the answer is to ignore Mr. D.............try putting yourself in his position. He feels he's got to hold his stance since the beginning of this 8th grade quarrel.......I haven't read anyone backing him up so far...........put's him at a real disadvantage......so he's only got himself........For this reason, he is showing more and more hostility............

Urmil, on the other hand, has got a lot of support, so he can sit back and not feel the shittyness that goes with people ganging up on you...........

I say we all are adults. We should respect each other from all aspects, and give the guy one more chance. I think he realizes that making insulting comments results in bad things, but is too proud to admit he threw the first punch and the reprecussions are greater than he expected.
He want's to be on this board..........if it were up to me, I would have found another group to hang out with, but from what I can tell, he just want to put his .02 worth of constructive criticizm...........

man this article cost my company big $$$$.....................gotz to get back to work........please bare with my poor writing skills.....
