Ok so I took this from someone's Facebook status but apparently the police cought 2 guys

OK here is the full info. The reason why they got caught is because their next door call the polices on them. They say that it funny how they see two guy cutting up a nice sport car. when the polices came the two guy try to run and the polices catch up to them. after they got the guy they return to the garage they try to find vin number on the car and no where to be found the two guy cut and remove all VIN but they r stupid and left the VIN sticker on the door so the officer run the VIN and found out that the car was stolen. also there are another red s2000 in the garage too that are stolen. my car out part out into 40 pieces and car a cut in half for scrap metals. RIP My lovely s2000.

I thought the red was the guy doing an intern at UIC? he mentioned he was parked next to all these nice cars and I think his car was stock???

 

Silverstone I believe was the UIC guy. I don't remember a red one.

good that they caught two, but i believe they must be another group that has stolen the other 4 from this community in the past few months. they operate in a different fashion as the ones who were caught. what the other group did is they took the parts they want, and then dump the car frame somewhere in the city. we still need to be very cautious about where we left our cars at. there're more thieves out there!
