Default Testing waters...FS: Suzuka Blue hard top

The used S2K I'm looking to buy comes with a Suzuka blue hardtop. Would anyone be willing to buy the hardtop from me if I bought the car? Not really sure if I'm buying this one yet, but wanted to get an idea of how interested people are. I haven't seen the car yet, so I can't comment on the quality. You can check out the car here:
http://www.cars.com/search/used/ms/dealer/...crosite&cid=268

Chicago area preferred but I'm willing to drive a bit to deliver. Don't really want to ship.

Thanks.

How much are you thinking of selling the top for?

Looks like there is some interest. Just looking through the For Sale forum and it looks like these have been going for around $1700...if this is higher or lower, please point me to those threads!

So if anyone wants to put in a SERIOUS bid, I'll know how much I have to negotiate with the dealer.

I have to sell my car first (2002 RSX Type-S)...which should happen soon and I have to look at this car...probably this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

Make sure, who ever buys this hardtop, that you get the latch strikers and the rear pin receptacle mounts along with the hardtop.

The mount kit is another $300 and hard to come by, even when bought new from the dealership.

You mentioned you haven't seen the car yet and can't comment on the quality.

I believe I saw this suzuka when I was buying my silverstone last year.
Unless they did fix it, the driver side of hardtop (behind the side window) has a very big dent. Other than that the car seemed to be in a very good condition.

Anyways, good luck with the purchase.

Well, I bought the car...I decided to keep the hardtop though. I got the S for a little less than I was planning (thanks for the advice naseeb) and I really like it. Sorry to lead you guys on. Feel free to come up with some ridiculous offers though
