I don't think it matters to anyone else who was there except those there. No reason to start a blame thing. I don't want a list put up here.

I don't want people to fear events, I will still have them.

I believe the point of this thread is to get our stuff back from the person who took it. It's not to label others or blame everyone.

We all are a great group of people and I have had many many good times with everyone. I have made more friends then I thought possible. And it was the S2000 people who came through for me on my accident and support when needed.

it matters though...despite the fact i do not frequent alot of the events, this really make me want to attend absolutely NONE of them

while i know you don't want people to fear attending, it starts out with something as simple as a couple radar detectors, then who knows what else....home electronics, other items, whatever...

i for one would like whoever did this to be outted publicly. period.

What a terrible way to start out the new season...

I am truly sorry to hear about this mishap. What goes around comes around so I'm sure they'll get what they deserve. I just hope this person has the decency to return these items as soon as possible. Much luck to Keith and Urmil in getting their items back. I will definitely keep an eye out as well.

Very shocked to have read this. Never felt I had to lock things up when I attended any meets. Hopefully this get righted very quickly.

I think its safe to say its most likely someone who has not really come to meets before. So that would help narrow it down

Unbelieveable! I was not there and don't attend meets often but that is just pathetic. I can't believe from Urmil and Keith especially, who has helped the community so much in so many ways. IMHO, I would like this person(s) to be called out, he/she doesn't deserve to have their identity hidden to even have the nerve to do what this person did. That is just terrible. But if the only way to recieve the stolen items back is to hide their identity, so be it. Karma will get you 5x harder.

Anyways, sorry to hear about this Urmil, Keith, and others that got items stolen. I hope you receive everything that was taken. You have no idea how steaming I am from this. I don't know everyone so well, but I keep up with all the posts and pretty much know how much good you guys have done for the community. I am in so much disgust right now. Good luck getting the items back guys. I will look out for them as well.

WOW! Where has the word of man gone too. For the first time ever i lent someone i have meet only through here my KEYS. I dont even let my father drive my car. I trusted him (mountian-man) because that is what this community is known for. UMW can stand proud cause every where we go people point and say how can we get that!!! I have always left my top down and doors unlocked. Do i have to check my car now? Was what was taken worth me having to put my top up eveytime i turn around. Be a bigger person especailly if u have an s. Think of the Karma. Let it go and sleep free.

Keith and Urmil,

I am sorry to read of how your generosity and efforts to help, create, and maintain this tight and inclusive community have been rewarded. We've certainly had enough 'dude that sucks' and 'kill kill kill' responses of support, so...

I just want to bump Harry's class (as always) in offering this person the opportunity to undo a mistake and restore everyone's faith that this is an anomaly and not typical or systemic.

To whomever, please take Harry up on his offer. His word is gold. You will be protected, and we all hope will have learned a personal lesson in what is truly valuable, which we all need in different forms from time to time over our lives.
