I'm so sorry to hear about this Urmil and Keith. I hope you can find out who did this and get your stuff back. It's a shame that something like this happening especially because Keith was so generous to open his place to have a great meet. Lets just hope karma runs its course on these thieves....

Weak!

Was this from cars out on the street or cars that were being worked on?

hey all

This has been very hard for me not to start a thread on this.

After all these years of meets and great times together, something like this happened.

It WAS a fellow S2ker from my party. No one else was there and my sister lives out in a corn field. The only people there were a couple biker friends, but they left before this happened.
Both cars were parked in front of the garage where we were. They had been in the cars up till we closed the doors due to cold and getting dark.

It is hard to imagine SOMEONE from our group being a theft and stealing from one of there own. But it happened.

Hecash has the best option, but I think we need some address so this can get to Harry or someone.
I would like the items returned to at least to restore some faith in our group. Please have a conscience and return our belongings. As the person is reading this and has a choice to do the right thing.

Upset in the midwest.
Keith

wow. I have heard of people stealing from meets and such in California, but never a small meet like this. I was not there, but for someone to do that when invited is horrible. Economy's tough, and there have been a lot of people doing things you would never think they would. Hope everything works out, but I think that since such common items were taken, they wouldn't end up on a forum for sale. However, you never know thieves are dumb. Hope everything works out for you guys.

Also if you can't trust these people, you never know if someone is there taking vins and license plate numbers down to steal cars. It is not always about little removable items.

If someone takes my vin and finds my house, PLEASE come steal my car, my 2 shot guns, 5 pistols, and 4 rifles will be waiting for you, seriously this is just ridiculous I can't believe someone did this and to someone who opened up their home to us... I am still livid, i can't imagine how you two feel... Again I am sorry to hear this happened, and i too will be pulling stuff down of my dash and putting it in my lock box...
