Stolen car
#11
Yea bunch of cars stolen this yr already, and no honda is safe on the st... fuc#ing low life people need to get a job. I keep mine in garage! I live in the country so makes it easy to know if I was being followed. I don't sell parts from my house or go to car meets which helps keep thieves away... good luck with the find. Start shopping for another car because thieves will have it to a bare shell if you ever even find the shell.

BTW, Don't think your car is safe because it is in a garage, or because it's out of sight, or you live in the country. Just google it. It's pretty well known that a true professional would prefer the security of a garage to burglarize or steal the car. Garages are usually alot easier to break into than cars, and once you're in the garage, you have time to work unseen by the public. My in-laws live in the country and theives took their old Yukon (parked outside), then broke into the adjacent garage and swiped a rare Harley-Davidson. The Yukon was old and relatively worthless, it was found days later trashed. The bike has never been found. I didn't even know they had the Harley (it was just a garage queen), and I think it was just dumb luck that the thieves stumbled upon it while stealing the shitty Yukon.

I saw a GPW around the Naperville Metra Station this morning, which to me is very odd because I've never seen a GPW s2k around that area in the past few years. Given my limited appearance in the UMW meets I am not sure if it's a local owner or not. You guys can probably help point out if it's a local owner.
Anyways I was in a rush to catch the train so didn't pay close attention. I know this may very well be a local owner but I just want to post this in case it's the worst case scenario.

Ugh, this makes me absolutely sick. It's killing our community.
The two best things we can do are alarms / trackers / fuel cut-off installs, and keep your eyes out for stolen parts. Most of these cars will be chopped.
Remember, ANY information you can give police, the better. If anyone has or knows anything, I can give you the contact information for a detective currently working on this matter.

Sorry to hear about this. I remember seeing your car and noticing how similar it was to mine with the rpf1s. I'm always on the lookout for gpw parts, so Ill keep your car in mind.
I hope you get most of it back.
