Sorry to hear this Martin and all over a lousy $150. He seems very beligerent to people even trying to sell his turbo kit. Telling people to eat chicken sandwichs and take blue pills, calling people flakes who do not want his turbo kit.

I do not care about the money at this point, that is long gone. It is all about principle now. I made the thread because he went ahead and called me a pollock in our text messages and accusing me of throwing out his checks for the past eight months. He has to be on something to think I would throw money away for something I sold. The whole situation is mind blowing. I was keeping my mouth shut for a long time, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Untill I saw him posting about buying new parts, getting a new tune, putting insurance on his car, and filling up his a car at $6.50 a gallon. How can he afford all that but not give me my money.

The best part of the story is that I have received over six text messages in a span of two hours demanding my address and threating me with a $10k lawsuit. Since I posted this thread.

Hey Angela, I see the modifications adding up in your sig. cant wait to see how the car looks now a days. Hopefully I will have my car running by early May. Hoping to make it out to some meets finally. Maybe I will come to the dent day as my daily got some hail damage from the storm this past week. Pretty upset about that btw.

It's always sad when things like this happen.

I saw the thread in the feedback forum, and it just doesn't look good for him. I realize it seems like all the information is only coming from one side, but he has done nothing to defend his position, except lash out.

If he does sue you (and I doubt highly that he ever would or could) just remember that truth is an absolute defense to liable (or slander.) And if he really did rip you off, then he has NO case. I also love how he threatens to sue S2ki too. As though it's their responsibility to control what people say on a public forum. :rolfmao: I suspect he might have trouble passing the bar exam if he believes that.

As troubling and sad as this situation is, the only thing I find even more heartbreaking is what he has done to my old car!

 

Can someone post me a link to the transaction thread? Does anyone here know Sbrodacz? Can this be straightened out offline ? In person? If there is a thread out there in regards to this, I will follow-up in that thread.. No sense in posting in two places.

It sucks that it is turning into a legal matter but I'm sure that whoever is in the right will prevail. I mean that's what bank statements are for. From what I've read, it seems like Marty is in the right. Internet reputation might not mean much of anything, so Seth has no reason to post his bank statements up here. But I know that until he clears this up, I personally won't buy/sell anything to him nor welcome him to any meets.

I've interacted with both Marty and Seth maybe once or twice each. Based on my brief first impressions in person and online, I'm not surprised about the dynamic of the text messages. Marty seemed reasonable and Seth seemed to lash out with illogical disorganized and offensive arguments. Surprised he's going to be a lawyer (unless he's lying). Also, can't you get kicked out of law school or not take the bar exam if you've been convicted of something? It's probably true for something more sever than small claims court though.
