Default S2K Crash at Dekalb - April 24th?

So what happened? Someone showed up at a WindyCity Miata Club AutoX event, and got a bit overzealous to impress....OUCH!

I wasn't there either but from what I hear from people that were there is that he got there late missed the mandatory debrefing and/or another function thus was not allowed to particpate. The driver was furious and decided to leave without leaving his mark by loosing control of the S2, hitting a couple curbs and then the pole.

I guess I wasn't the only one who heard that story then...not sure if it is true or not, but I heard it too from some WCMC (Windy City Miata Club) folks.

those wcmc folk are the mf devil too, we'll hear about this for years. I didnt buy an STi because of the stigma, so this hurts my feelings.

How does someone crashing an S2000 make others the devil? (I don't understand the connection...) I do think I understand you about the STI...I saw another one rolled over the weekend off 83 in RoundLake...Hard to imagine rolling one at 40mph on dry roads
