For anyone going up Friday night, are you guys up for a dinner meet? I know a few great places in Detroit area for food in decent neighborhoods.

Also for those of you that don't get much of a chance, make sure you get a chance to enjoy a nice Coney Island (variation of a hot dog). Make sure you get one either late Friday night after some drinking, or on Saturday before the drive back home.

For you guys coming from west of Detroit down I-94, don't take it all the way to downtown. The road is crap. Instead take M-14 just west of Ann Arbor. This will turn into I-96 near Livonia, which in turn takes you downtown. They recently re-paved the entire section of I-96, and it is brand new (no MI potholes yet). Then take I-75 north to Woodward and follow the other directions posted. Just trying to save you guys some abuse on the cars. If you are staying in Dearborn and want to go out Friday/Saturday night, there are many bars/restaurants on Michigan Ave. Bailey's, Venue, Double Olive, and stripclubs (BT's, Flight Club and Parthenon). Let me know where else you guys are staying and I will point you in the right direction. Definitely go to Lafayette or American Coney. Order '2 on 1 with everything'

Hmmmm.....American Coney. Of all things in Detroit, I miss that the most.

Ditto on the room if anyone needs a place to crash..or for that matter if anyone just needs a place to clean the bugs and brake dust off after the drive up.
I am in Farmington, about 20 miles away, or about 15 minutes at "S" speed.

I gan even move the Integra out into the street if a garage is needed, although it looks like it will be a dry weekend.
