damn, wish I could come up for this with my S, Im a CCS design alum, and Im sure this will really help out the project, and ground it well in the reality of owning the car!
Im sure one of the biggest questions that will come up is how much of a "racecar" should the S continue to be? Can the average owner live with a lack of comfort in favor of greater performance; should the S go the route of the elise, or should the S turn into something more like a vette?
Hey SKREEMR, are you teaching at CCS now?
good luck guys!

I was able to get a schedule from the Department Chair at CCS:
10-11a Arrive, meet/greet, check out cars, photos, Fill out info forms
11-12 Brainstorm/discussion with students
12-1 Sandwiches and sodas
I would expect additional discussion after the lunch break as well.
Given the amount of construction in Detroit, please note that I-94 is VERY bumpy and is often compared to the streets of Bosnia. Take it easy on the way in and be on the lookout for bad pavement.
It may be a good idea to get on Woodward North from I-75 or Woodward south from Lodge Freeway North (M-10) to Davison East then Woodward South. Sure, you can take I-94, but at your own risk. Modified and lowerd cars beware.
You will want to go East on Kirby for one block (DIA on right) through John R and park in the traffic Circle in front of the "Tinker Toy Building" unless someone is there to direct you to a better location on campus. be prepared to be SWAMPED by students as the Dorm is at the entrance on the left.
See ya there!
Also of note, for those who want to make the trek up, there will be large gatherings of exotics and sport compacts as usual on Friday Night at 11/Inkster as well as a large season ender blowout Saturday on I 275, and the last "Under the lights" Sport Compact Drags at Milan.(on the way home for some of you)
Email for additional info or assistance.

I can host a few people at my house in Lansing (guest bedroom has a bed and fold out couch and a few other random places to sleep) for anyone coming up Friday night. Lansing is about an hour or so from Detroit. PM me if interested.

I sent hecash an email and got the following reply - so please drop his name fromt he list:
Hi Dave,
I posted that I was backing out on the 8 October event. I forgot that I had already signed up for the Lotus Club weekend at Grattan. I hate to miss it because I wanted to discuss how they could put some downforce on the car with stylish options.
Best regards,
Harry
