You have to work on your heel to toe, boy. Otherwise looks like you have your lines down well.
I know, I know. I definitely recognize it as one of my weaker points...been practicing though (not that heel-toe at 25mph on the street is the same as heel-toe at 50mph at turn 5 going uphill).

I can't heel/toe the S2000. The pedals are too far apart for me. I think I am going to need new pedals.

It may be the fact Pete that you have big feet or more than likely your knee is bumping the wheel.

No my knee doesn't hit the wheel. My feet are too big to try different ways to reach the gas pedal. The only way I could do it would be to roll my foot over and nudge the gas, but it's too far away from the brake for me to reach with the side of my foot.

I can reach NP in my other cars.

In your other cars, do you "roll" your foot, or do you actually do "heel-toe". I've heard of both methods...I've been trying "heel-toe" in the S and haven't had much problem (besides my own incompetence).

A little of both actually. The footbox in the S2000 is too short for me to actually heel-toe. With the ball of my foot on the pedal, my heel hits the floorboard. Plus, the gas pedal seems too high when the brake is depressed. I like it when the untouched gas pedal is level with the fully pressed brake.

explain the heal -toe method?

I've been wondering about this for a long time and I finally got the balls to ask.
Where does the toes go, and where does the heel go?
I can't spread my heels and toes across the clutch and the gas? Buy me a clue.

when do they have these days that you can go to Road America and just go all out like that? I've only done the touring and I've always wanted to go and actually try it all out. I"m assuming it's rather expensive however.

thanks

I went with NASA (National Auto Sport Association http://nasaproracing.com/, not the space people ). Unfortunately I don't think they're going again this season. There are other groups that go though. BMWCCA, SCCA (I think), Speed seekers.

The Road America event I went to was $435 for 3 day, $300 for to 2 days, $200 for one day (I think). Yes, a fair chunk of change, but if you break it down to dollars vs seat time, it's actually pretty economical.
