You are correct that everyone has made bad decisions. If this guy was known as a safe and courteous driver and this was his only "bad decision" then I'm sure people would be more sympathetic.

Ok extreme example:
Your moms a crack addict, she dyes on an overdose.
You tell your friends about your loss, and they say. "She was a stupid bitch anyway."
Regardless, of bad decisions or not, doesnt give anyone the right to be so unsymathetic about the loss of someones friend.

don't believe everything you hear... and i'm definately not defending him, just stating facts... he had his "spirited drives" once in a while... just like most of car enthusaists anyways
