Replacement Clutch Shop? Or Dealer?

Replacement Clutch Shop? Or Dealer?
Hello Guys,
It has finally came time to get a replacement Clutch, throwout bearing, etc. I am most likely going to stay stock. I had no problems with it. I would to read som responses on clutch replacments around Chicago and burbs. I have called one dealer and I was quote'd $2400.00 with a new flywheel if needed. Could it really be that much for parts and labor? Does anyone have a recommended shop or suggestion? I am a bit worried about the average mini-van tech tearing down my S2000.
Thanks,
Joe

Going to a Honda dealer for this work is insane in terms of price , time of work, and level of service.
There are many tuner shops in the 'burbs of Chicago that have done this work, on the quick, on the cheap (relative to what a dealer charges), and replacing parts that are generally better than OEM.
It really depends on where in Chicagoland you're at:
If you're in the south, ProFunction.
If you're in the west, Suja1 or AMS
If you're in the north/northwest, GT Motoring.
