Anyone going to the Redbull Air Race in Detroit later this year. I saw some ads for it on TV and I've also watched it on "ESPN 8: The Ocho". Looks awesome.

 

I'm interested... which day (5-31 or 6-1) are you going and do you plan on purchasing tickets or viewing from another area?

 

Saw that commercial as well. Bit of a drive for me but it looks damn cool.

The one in San Diego is $25 for race day.

I am in, Detroit is a drive for me, but Ive always wanted to see something like this.

 

Now that there is a good chance I'll be staying in Chicago for the summer (in what used to be my brother's apartment, Pat ), I might be interested in going since it looked freaking sweet.

 

Ohio guy here was interested in going but looked up tickets and the only two kinds available are 600 and 960 each is there general admission or a different place to view them from? because at those prices I'll just watch it from my couch.
