I had One 6 put in my clutch this past summer. They did a great job and were competitively priced. Mark (owner) has an ap1 so at least someone there has personal experience working on the car + they specialize in Honda. I'd take my car there anytime I don't feel like spending a weekend in my own garage
One 6 ended up having the clutch ordered and there within a day so I didn't have much down time on my car. Mark did it for $350 labor.
My only gripe is they put 3.5 miles on my car.. I'm a little worried as to why they needed to drive my car that far to test the clutch and how hard it was driven. Makes me question having other work done there.

Unless I missed it above, what kind of clutch did you go with?

Relatively close to you, I'd give Profunction in Burr Ridge a call.
They do good work, know our cars well and are extremely reasonable on price (I've actually told them they should charge more in the past, largely because I want them to remain in business).

Bumping this back up due to the PM I received. This is the thread you should look at that was in my response to you.
As for my .02 of mechanic to use if you're not going through a dealer:
Drop midwesta a PM. He's been working on Hondas since as long as I've known him...maybe 6 years. He works as a mechanic and does a bit of freelance work at discounted rates compared to dealerships.
He did the full AP2 driveline swap on my wife's S2000: F22c, full subframe, suspension, and control arms.
He did an amazing job in two nights time...everything was done cleanly and all bugs were worked out by the time he delivered the car (now that's service).
He's also worked on one of my past cars, a K-swapped Integra. Again, he'd done great work on the car (electronic work and wiring).
Drop him a PM if you need anything done.
