Recommend me a mechanic in IL
I've never done a clutch install and from reading everything online it doesn't seem hard just time consuming. I can't have a ton of down time as this is my DD for now and am between houses so no garage to do it. Does anyone know of any decent shops that can do a S2000 clutch at a decent price? I'm putting a order in for a Inline pro 1620 clutch kit tonight.
OR
Anyone done one at their house and want to make some cash doing mine? (I'll supply the beer)

I've done the job myself and as you said its not too hard but its time consuming. Two things you gotta watch out for is the allen bolts on the drive shaft (cuz they strip easy) and its easy to break the knock sensor off while doing the job (mine did).
Oh, and make sure you have a Helms S2000 manual...
And if your gonna have it done, check out One 6 Motorsports in Elk Grove. They work on S2ks regularly and have a flywheel resurfacer machine in house.

I had One 6 put in my clutch this past summer. They did a great job and were competitively priced. Mark (owner) has an ap1 so at least someone there has personal experience working on the car + they specialize in Honda. I'd take my car there anytime I don't feel like spending a weekend in my own garage

not a bad price. if you are turbo or supercharged you can almost say the labor will double. lol, its was a 12 hr project on my car with the blower, but keep in mind I took my time and didnt use power tools. (I do not like to use power tools on anything other than removing suspension bolts, and even then I wont use it unless something is near destroyed)
