Default Race during lunch on Hwy 280

I just raced a Trans Am WS6 (I think, I've never been good with the Pontiac nomenclature) on Hwy 280 in my white s2000. Just checking to see if you made it to the site ok.

I didn't want to bring up details because I didn't win any. All drag races. We raced about five times. One race we threw out because we both got really bad starts. That was our only race from a standstill. Three out of the remaining four races we started at about 30 mph. Those times the nose of my car was at either his passenger door or his rear bumper (ok mostly the rear bumper). Then I

Btw, it sounded great when we were both revving high and doing about 100mph under the hennepin bridge.

Sounds like you both had fun!!! Wish I could have a little action from time to time. Last time I had any close encounter was with a Camaro SS on the freeway...him and his friend (they both looked pretty young) didn't want to play thou.

I whooped up on two Trans Ams a couple months ago...they were not the WS6 model.

Yeah, I've beat other Trans Ams too. I don't know what exact model they were but they had puny tires.

Is your car white? If so, have you noticed that the OEM front lip is a different color white than the rest of the car. I've had two, they were both whiter than the rest of the car.

No, my car is silverstone and I do have the OEM lip, but it's the same color. It least I think I'm seeing the same color.

Yeah, I've noticed the other colors seem to match. But I've seen other pictures of white ones that don't match. Oh well, I think I'm going to get the Amuse front lip next summer anyway.

I've race an blue/WRX on Hwy 212 once, I won over him 2 outta 3 times. I think I got lucky....

Another time this yellow Evo. wanted to race me on the freeway, but I just gave him the finger since that was the night I saw that kid get run over at Midway and was on my way back home. He just wouldn't leave me alone...so I gave him the finger! hehehehehe!

Oh...yeah...I've also lost to this Nissan 280 turbo charge....it was sad cause my brother inlaw was with me in the car....I lost face...you know.

Hey- Do you guys double shift when you guys drag race? You know to pick up speed faster.... This 5.0 cobra driving guy once told me he slip shift...to gain speed..I'd try that but it dose not seem to work really well. Double clutch seems to pick up speed faster..
