Default Quick TIRE SIZE question

Will these size tires fit on my stock rims?

Front - 225 50 16

Rear - 265 45 16

Any help would be great!

Thanks

have you tried contacting jim at tire rack? there's a forum dedicated to tires and wheels. You will have better luck there.

The 225's on the front will fit. The widest I ever got close to on the stock rim was 255. 265 may be pushing it a bit....but then again, there's gotta be a reason why your screen name is "pushin#".

265 will fit, but it will look hell of funny.. 245/50/16 is about as big as you can go with out making the the rear looking all bubbled up..

225 is a little excessive up front, it will fit but why?

I could have gotten those size tires for a REALLY low price but I am not going to do it anymore...

However I am still buying the 225 50 16's for the rear NOT the front

I run 225 fronts and 245 rears on oem 16s (S03s) - the car handles great. I think the widest you can go is 255 in the rears and don't go over 225 in the fronts.

The OEM S02s are closer to 225 than they are 205. Strictly speaking, 225/50 and 245/45 is the "correct" non-S02 combination.

Greg, are you buying track tires? If so I'd highly recommend the above combo. If you get too fat in the back you may find yourself unhappy with the handling.
