Putnam Park lapping day

Putnam Park lapping day
Anybody heard of Predator Motorsports? They have a lapping day at Putnam Park on March 28th. I'm not sure what vehicles qualify or details, but it sounds like maybe a fun opportunity for early spring. I'm new to the track but really want to give it a shot this summer. Have you been to Purtnam Park for other events?

I wonder if the track will allow our cars to run with the factory roll bars? Some tracks won't.
It looks like Feb. 28th is the last day to enter and it will cost $270 to run for the day.
I'm not familiar with Predator Motorsports. One of these days I need to drive out there and take a look at the track, I haven't been there yet.

Hey 6Sigma,
Sorry, I don't have a direct reply to your post, however, your name intrigues me. Do you use 6sigma quality tools? Are you a green belt, black belt or master black belt? Just curious...I am doing a project at work and I am the owner/green belt. Always interested in meeting others who do what I do, plus I'm new to 6sigma and could always use help!

Is $270 for a day inline with other track fees? I am not 100% sure about S2000s, but judging from the pics of previous lap day events, Predator Motorsports allows Miatas without rollbars. Also, I read somewhere on here that Putnam Park allows S2000s with stock roll hoops as protection.

hecash,
Thanks very much for the info, I'd be greatly interested in the Mid-Ohio info when you get it ready. I'm interested in Putnam Park mainly because it is very close to me. Also, I'm a beginner at track events, so I want my first events to include a novice bracket and instruction. I have decided against the Predator event (although they do allows stock S2000s), but have signed up for this event in April at Putnam Park:

Although it is still faily expensive at $250, it may be a good way to start. Instruction and beginner groups are there, as well as some very cool machinery to check out. Maybe I could do the Mid-Ohio event an the 23rd and still catch the Putnam Park event on the weekend!
thanks

Well, I'm officially in for my first HPDE event. Looks like I'll be representing S2000 all by myself. I realize it is not a race, but some imposing machinery nonetheless. I've never even seen some of those cars on the street, is this a typical mix for HPDE? I think the S2000 may have the lowest HP of the group!
