I voted the 26th because I'll be driving home that weekend, so I'll be going through Milwaukee Sunday afternoon.

Any other weekend is out for me. Oh well.

My vote is for the 26th still. These are two events that are far enough of away from each other to host for those that can/want to drive to Starved Rock, and for those that want to stay around the WI area.

This community does not need to be Chicago-centric and things need to be hosted by other owners outside of the region NOT at the convenience of Chicago-area owners.

I strongly urge to keep this BBQ before the July 4th weekend, or push it back to the third or fourth week of July if it is to be planned around the picnic.

This year we have the largest group of WI owners I've seen as an owner for close to 6 years. They are also active. It's imperative to put together a group activity/outing for them (especially this soon after FWT) to keep their momentum going.

We already do that with our Thursday night meets.

I agree to some extent. The only downside is that you force everyone to choose and decrease attendance to both. Can't we find 2 weekends in the next 8-10 weeks to have 2 events?

it makes NO sense to plan two events for the SAME date
