Unfortunately,

"6 SP TO 9 K",
"REVS 2 9 K", and
"4 AUTOX"

won't work in IL. Unless something has changed, I don't think you can get IL plates with numbers preceding letters.

You cannot have a letter after a number on a passenger car plate.

REVZ TO 9 is already taken.

TWISTY

I TURN 2

REVS TO 9

REVIN 29 (You can't put a space between numbers either. )

S 2000 (Probably Taken)

F OPEC

I didn't see that rule about letters and numbers, but it is (poorly) explained on the form:

"Numbers are required to proceed letters on personalized B-Truck, RV, RT, Antique Vehicle, and Antique Motorcycle Plates." It doesn't say anything about Vanity Plates (which are different than Personalized plates.

"Do not intermix letters and numbers."
"Do not use a space between numbers."

Maybe "361 AS," like my SCCA number. Unfortunately, that won't be valid if I ever go into a modified class, or if the S2K ever moves again.

I was going to get personalized plates, but it seems that cops remember You a lot better if You have a unique plate, so I decided to have custom license plate frame made by WESTCOASTENGRAVING.COM, it came out very well, I think I like it more then personalized plate.

How much did they cost?

I have to get a front liscense plate frame anyway, since my car didn't come with one.

Passenger
1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 letters plus 1 thru 99 or 6 letters plus 1 thru 9
It's not clear, but it means no letters after numbers.

There's a reason for that.

Front plates are LAME.
