Paint over carbon fiber?

gettin' paint job on car next week
pretty sure i'm keeping with black
but just a makeover.

debating.. paint over fenders too?

Yes...paint over the fenders. If you'd like to show the cf, then leave the leading edge of the duct cf

Definitely paint them. The idea of leaving the vent area unpainted is fine, but it clashes a bit from the picture you've posted.
