OK Guys, I need your help deciding
Well, Tuesday I was in Chicago (Franklin Park) while two of my buddies were getting work done on their STI's at P&L. We decided to go to lunch, and while driving down Manheim, Southbound from Irving Park twoards North Ave to go to Portillo's, I hit a massive pothole, more like a small crater.
Anyways, nothing seemed wrong until I got on the freeway. Slight shimmy between 55 & 65, gone after 70.
Took the car to my local firestone where the tires were mounted and balanced to have them rebalanced figuring I threw a weight off. Well, lo and behold two of the rims are bent. I have them balanced anyways.
THEY STILL BALANCE PERFECTLY FINE AND HOLD AIR, but, I want new wheels, so this kinda gives me an excuse.
I am selling the wheels, without tires, for less than half of what they cost new.
One of the two bent wheels also has some curb rash, just on the lip though.
After speaking with tirerack, the ASA is discontinued, however, they have two of them in stock, one brand new for $220 and one with a small nick on the front for $120. The wheels retailed new for $250 each. Also, there is a new wheel coming out (Sport Edition) that is identical since ASA changed manufacturing sources, and those are priced at $189 each, cheaper, but not the same brand unfortunately.
Anyways, I decided I want new wheels, so here they are, photo shopped onto my car, but I cant decide on color. I am leaning towards the Grey, which is a flat Grey, but the sliver looks OK as well....IT IS NOT CHROME LIKE THE PICTURE SEEMS TO LOOK
Please Help Me!!!!
