It's not a problem. Don;t park in puddles higher than your intake and you will be fine.
Water running down the gap between the hood and the passenger fender gets to a hole under the hood and drains down onto the filter. If you let it stand long enough it can fill the elbow of the intake and that could cause you a problem. Cover the hole (I'll show you which one tomorrow) and you will be fine.
I have not bothered to cover the hole on my car because I don't normally drive it in the rain. Since I will be driving it tomorrow, it won't ran. See, no problem.
