So I am not comfortable doing a valve adjustment on my S2000 myself just yet. I don't think one has ever been done to my 2001 w/ 80K as I just bought it a year ago.

Can someone recommend a great shop/technician to perform a valve adjustment for me? I am on the north side of Chicago but would travel if the person/shop is highly recommended...

Any help would be great.

I'm gonna move this to the main forum, since it's S2000 related.

For what it's worth, local member Phong (goes by the screen name jeggy) does great work with valve adjustments. Local member Dan (Quivers) also does them at his shop, assuming you can get a hold of him.

I can do it. I have a garage in Zion, IL. The hardest part is waiting for the engine to cool down.

How much do they usually cost? Been thinking of getting one done soon.
