Also, I have AP2 tail lights on the car so I had to make customize the tail lights brackets. It wasn't perfect so my taillights had to scrape against metal a little bit making the plastic not perfectly smooth in the parts that had to go into the hole in the car. Hopefully that may lead to something.

Recovered. Car was found in an alley near Ashland and Diversey this morning and towed to the city impound lot. My heart broke when I saw her. Top was slashed, seats stolen, instrument cluster (I don't know if it'll make a difference but my mileage on it was close to 58,500)gone, engine and tranny out, trunk looked like a bear tried to rip it open, emblems and trunk lock and side door panels not there. My alpine radio with ipod connector model number CDA-9885 or something close to it. It has the bio-lite display on it. My bumpers, head lights and tail lights are still there though.

That sucks man! I hope the insurance will cover your (financial) loss. The emotional loss would be tougher to overcome.

Did they take the wheels? If they did then the car was most likely stripped near the dump spot. Did the cops tell you exactly which alley it was found?

Wheels are gone too. The address of the alley was 2466 N. Ashland. There's a crap load of garages there. Think I'm putting too much info out there?
