Noob here to say hi, SE Wis
Well now that I polished and detailed our car I thought I'd introduce myself.
We always enjoyed seeing these S2000's around but we were busy raising a family and needed the minivan etc. Now that the boys are out (one just starting at UW Madison and the other finishing up Criminal Justice/Law) we took the plunge and purchased a fun car for us. I needed to sell my Ducati to do it but this is almost as fun without the hassle of the gear (helmets, jackets and etc.)
It's a 2001 but it has a AP2 drive-train. The chassis has 36k miles on it and the drive-train has about 12000 miles on it. It was in pretty good shape although the paint has a lot of small pits in it from small rocks and dust I would imagine. There were some minor scratches but most of them I was able to buff out. I also just added the front lip.
My wife will be turning 50 in a few weeks and I am 54 so Yeah we are old but so what!!!!
The only thing left to do right now or over the winter is new wheels/tires (needs darker wheels and larger) and I may have the windshield replaced because of the pitting.
Without further ado:
Suggestions welcome!!!!!

Congrats on the car looks clean from the pics I also had the pitting in the windshiled and had mine replaced when I purchased it.
I just sold my car to an older couple also, they picked it up this past Wednesday.
Theft has been up on these like most older Honda's so just be careful where you park your car other then that TOP always down and you will forget you ever had a bike!!

Welcome, although the pics didn't load for me. We live just over the line from Wilmot in Spring Grove. We love taking time on Sunday afternoons to just meander on So. Wisc back roads. Wouldn't mind meeting for such a drive, if you can stand the thought of hanging with a couple in their mid sixties. Lots of first hand "Tail of the Dragon" stories to tell. Call me at work, 847-245-7600, Jay
