Nice top down ride to the bar this evening! Unfotunately, I just got spanked by an SRT4 in a stop light drag race on my way home. I always win those until tonight (even in my beater). Most embarrassing was the fact that I got off the line way quicker than the other guy (he spun his tires, and just sat there), and while I was in VTEC the ****** flew past me! Time to go FI??? Maybe I was just too ???

I got "beat" by a car last night too, but it was a turbo 911.

He was behind me at a light and I left hard from the light, and I pulled away from him. When I hit 5-10 over the speed limit I slowed down. (He wasn't playing yet and was 7-8 car lengths behind me.) I saw him move out, but I didn't downshift, and he flew past me ricer flyby style.

All I cared about was that I was out driving with the top down.

You're in Michigan. The appropriate question/response is:

"Time to go domestic big block 8?"

Woke mine up and took her down to BW3s to watch the Jayhawks spank Southern Illinois. Awesome day for a drive, might take her out again today as well.

That was a really funny response. Especially funny because the vehicle I got rid of last year when I got my S was a GMC 3/4 truck w/ small block 350, flat pistons, racing cam, edelbrock headers, etc... (perhaps a true Michigander vehicle by your standards).
