BOV is right for a S/C so no issues there.

Next thing I would check is make sure the bolt is tight. Take off the outlet of the snail and there is a bolt that goes thru the blower fin/blade to the other side where your pulley is. Don't over tighten but just check to see if it has play. No need to remove from your car to do this.

Post back what you find out

Meant to say your inlet (intake) portion of the blower.

yeah good guess!

heres the proof: TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS TO HEAR IT, its quiet..

another close up

did not tighten it, as it was already tight - i tried to but it would just start to spin the blower, so i stopped
( i dont think that would be too good)

Now what ? lol

you have to hold the nut on the other side of the pulley when you tighten then it wont spin, if it wont tighten then its time for a rebuild. Once its all apart you will find out what exactly needs replacement and check for damage internally.

by the way, anyone know how to solder the vortech wires to the necessary wires, under the dash.

What is the best way to do it.. as it seems very difficult with the small ammount of room - Did anyone try removing it all, in order to solder it more easily.

well i tried tightening it,but while i had the rear nut ( off the pulley) clamped and held tightly in place, i tried tightening the blower wheel in the front and it seemed tight, yet still moved along w the pulley/belt as i held the rear bolt/nut in place.

I only did it a tad, since it still moved and i thought it would have remained stationary, so i did not want to cause any more possible damage, in case i was doing it wrong (which i have the strange feeling i did somehow.. )

This is what i did:

I held this rear bolt/nut in place (green)

while i turned this one in the front ( red ) towards the right- to tighten it

and the whole blower and pulley started moving with it as i was tightening- yes i barely moved it, since i did not want to cause any possible damage.

Thank You

Yea you hold the nut on the pulley side and turn from the front. Im not sure the rotation direction to tighten or loosen with out seeing it and my blower was a different brand. I would think that if its turning your not doing something correct. Hold the pulley nut (dont turn it) with wrench and turn (only) from the propeller only this way you know you can either loose or tighten and nothing more.

yeah...I'm now pretty sure i just have to get it rebuilt

Seems like everytime i turn the blower nut, and keep the rear pulley nut in place, it just spins along and doesnt tighten any more. there was a marking on the nut and blower (marked by installer.not me) (two lines that lined up) to tell if the nut moved, but it was still in the same place.

Meaning that it just spun in place and it was not loose - since im guessing the lines were drawn on since it was installed..because i dodnt do that.

SOO, im going to take the blower off on friday and might just send it in to vorteh monday ...

Hoping this would be the fix.
