....and I am fcuking excited!!! For the past four years with the S2000, whenever my car needed touchup or a fender or bumper painted, I've gone to one of three places.
1). Tech-Cor, they are an Allstate owned training facility that does AWESOME work, but only works with OEM paint, body panels, liners, etc. They don't/won't prep and paint anything non-OEM. I had to come here due to someone making a right-turn infront of me in their high-honking pickup trunk, not seeing my low-flung car in the right-turn lane.

2). Collision Specialist Of Illinois Inc . I went there due to a truck backing up into my car on the driver's side door. Insurance said that was the only place in my area that was apart of their network that would warranty the paint and work for the life of the vehicle...and the owner was a fellow S2000 owner. They did great work, and delivered on time as promised. I onlly had one very slight complaint about them, but it's too minor to even talk about.

3). Bodyshop of Barrington. What can I say? There's not many places I go in the S2000 and feel inadequate or inferior. However, at this place I do. The three times my car has been there (two time for just a general clean-up like touching up paint and wet sanding, and once for paint and install on a new rear bumper cover). The rear bumper cover replacement was due to the car being in the hands of the Motorwerks service guys. It got "rear-ended" by a yellow Porsche that one of the techs was driving through their garage. I got the call from my service advisor, and I ran straight into Motorwerks with some of my detailing supplies (clay, polish, and some other stuff). I saw the rear bumper, and it had a some slight yellow rubbed onto the paint by no more than a tap from whatever car hit it. Motorwerks went overboard and took the liberty of ordering a new rear cover and scheduled an appointment with the car at all three places they refer work to. They wanted me to choose one place or choose another of my preference. I went with their Body Works of Barrington recommendation after telling them that this was completely un-necessary. They immediately upgraded my loaner from an Accord to a BMW 325 (which is one reason why I now own one).
Once at Body Shop of Barrington, I was treated like royalty directly by the owner of the shop. He gave me a tour of the shop and what he was working on. Not more than three days later, he calls me to let me know that the car is ready for inspection. I loved this immensely. I went it, I found nothing wrong with the paint. In fact, the car looked better than new. He took the liberty of giving the whole car a once over. Anyway, I was able to keep the original bumper cover, which is now back to new look after working on it in the basement for two months, and I've gone back to this shop twice after. The only real down-side to this place is that it is REAL expensive....but then again, I'd keep my labor rates very high if all I was working on was Ferraris, Lambos, high-end MB's and BMW's. The occasional Honda that comes through my door will be subject to the same rates.

ok, onto my recommendation:
M and B Enterprises. The S2000 hasn't seen a day inside their shop. It's going in there very soon to get a wing painted and mounted, and the front end cleaned up. However, M and B Enterprises owners are formerly the owners and operators of JDS Autobody. This is the same autobody shop that did all the custom work on my old Prelude. I can't say enough about Bob's (one of the owners...actually, I happen to think that the controlling partner is the "M" in "M and B". The "M" happens to be his wife ) handiwork. I have gone to the length to invite the team to my little BBQ. I sure hope they show. My car should be ready by then, so all of you can judge for yourselves there.
I will give a full report once I drop the car off to them and get it back.
