I think before anything goes any further about planning for any event, we should detail out what each event is going to focus on. One event should cater to building commaraderie, while another focuses on touring, while another focuses on spirited sanctioned driving.

I hope that we don't turn each event into a repetition of one event to the other. Harry and I will get together to talk about this tonight or tomorrow.

As you may or may not know, the UMW is also hosting a "national" S2K event. For all intents and purposes we will call it the S2K-Xpo here. The other site will see it as the S2K Days event.

There is a lot of logistics that need to go into planning the multiple events while trying to re-utilize work that will be accomplished from previous efforts.

 

Urmil, if you need some help from the west michigan side of the state, let me know what I could do to help. Don't have a ton of free time, however I will find the time if it helps out the UMW and S2k community.

seriously...ive been busy lately, but I have a few ideas too....we'll have to talk sometime.

Gimme a shout if I can do anything....and also if I can lend my knowledge from the few UK events I was involved in.

Good ideas. Have any dates be set yet for anything? My calendar for the year is filling up fast.

 

I like the idea of having very distinctly different events. Some that are focused on people and driving, and others that are more performance/skill based.

Keeps it all interesting!
