My first speeding ticket in Wisconsin
#12
Here in Wisconsin we don't have that court supervision.
I have a K-40 Laser Jammer. I think they are somthing else now.
I paid $275 for it. It sit in front were the license plate goes.
A light goes off and a beeper beeps when it gets hit with laser. (my beeper is gone now)
The last time I got hit was with Scrapdog going down to Chicago for a meet. I wasn't speeding and all the times it has gone off I wasn't speeding. But that last time I think he shoot me from behind cause it went off again. And I didn't think it worked from behind.
It was legal when I bought it, not sure anymore. Someone told me that laser was regulated by food and drug so there were any real rules on Jammers. This may be totally false though?
Good luck pininfarina456, lets us know what you do and how it works.

just for reference, the suburbs are a lot harder to get by. Milwaukee Cty though just wants the money. I got a 17 over reduced to a 0 point, non moving violation for parking on the freeway!
He did get my 6pt 36 over ticket in New Berlin dropped to a 4pt imprudent and excessive, so that was a HUGE help for me!!!

I'm from IL and not WI, but I have EXTENSIVE experience with many tickets in many states.
Unless immediate fine $$ is your highest priority (vs. points) , ALWAYS get a lawyer.
It's true that it's all about $$, however you have to remember all judges are lawyers as well. Having a lawyer means you've got skin in their game. You get to go first, preferential treatment, and sometimes even lower fines, all just for the fact that you are perpetuating their industry.

My last ticket I didn't get a lawyer but negotiated myself instead. I got the points taken off completely but paid about double the fine which ended up being ~$160. The main thing is that you don't want the offense to be reported to the Wis DOT. They just dropped my speeding ticket and issued me an Unnecessary Acceleration ticket which remains local/unreported.
