This is getting retarded. The only advice I can give is to stop posting "crap that's near me" and "damn I have to park outside too" in case whoever is doing this reads the forums. I'd get one of those wifi cameras and point it at my car if possible.

OP, sorry for you losing your car. Unless your car is found in the next 48 hours, best bet is to get the value coming to you on insurance payout, get you a replacement and move on.

So sorry to hear it. I hate being relegated to pleasure cruises only now that I fear parking anywhere for more than 5 min.

I'd not heard of Ravelco until researching today. But buy their product or not this is a sage piece of advice I'll be following from here on out.

6.) WHAT HAPPENS IF A TOW TRUCK TRIES TO STEAL MY VEHICLE?

b.) When you park your vehicle, turn your wheels all the way to the left or right and lock your steering column. In the event a tow truck tries to steal your vehicle, the angle of the wheels will make your vehicle track in a big circle. This attracts attention . . . and no tow truck driver wants to tow a vehicle that is traveling beside them two lanes away! This will make the tow truck driver look for an easier target.

^^ I don't get it.
Can't they just tow you from the front and release the parking brake.. so rears are following?

Happened to our Mercedes last night. It completely locked up with wheels completely turned and car wouldn't start and brakes were applied. * Serious electrical issues*

1) The tow truck driver hooked up the car from the front even tho the wheels turned and he had to drag it a few feet before the bed.
2) Sprayed WD40 on the path where it would drag the wheels and on the bed

Baraboom, the Mercedes was towed.
