I would need to go to an Outdoor Range as I shoot high powered rifles only: M1 Garand, Mauser K98 etc..

Thanks for the map Solless. You Wisconsin guys are very helpful, it is nice to see friendly people.

I should be taking a trip out soon to see the office, meet the employees in the office and find a place in the area to live. I will know when fairly soon.

Wisconsin is GREAT! I miss living there (mostly miss my family). People are very nice!

Here are the positives
1.) Nice people
2.) Milwaukee is one of the best kept secrets in the midwest (Its a BLAST in the summer).
3.) Beautiful area in the Kettle Moraine area with great mountain biking and hiking.
4.) Many lakes and parks to hang out at

Here are the negatives
1.) High property taxes. WI is the third highest taxed state in the country.
2.) Houses are expensive (not as much as Chicago but still pretty expensive)
3.) Roads are crappy for the most part (pretty rough with alot of tar lines)
4.) Bitter cold winters
5.) Liberal state (hard to find other conservatives)

I am probably going to move back next fall. I like Indianapolis but my wife wants to go back to WI. Despite all of the negatives I still miss it sometimes.

Yeah John, Definitely! I keep forgetting how young your little brother is....by the time I get back up there they will be pretty similar in play age

Also, There is another shooting range on the westside of Waukesha called McMiller. Thats where you want to go with an M1 Grand. I have one as well. I used to use it for deer hunting

If you golf-there is a ton of great golf courses in Wisconsin, the reason why I don't tinker with my S2000 much anymore.
