MN s2000(MR2s) The Little Deals Gap of the Midwest
Anyone up for a combo s2000/MR2/MR2 Spyder run?
Would be a long day/drive. Since this starts in LaCrosse. But looks and sounds like a great road to drive.
Could either:
1) Crusie down the hiway to Rochester then over to LaCrosse for a faster run to the start of 33.
2) Drive down the usual route along the river to LaCrosse then run along 33.

Wisconsin's Route 33 -
The Little Deals Gap of the Mid-west!
State: Wisconsin Length: 108 miles
Drive Special Designators: -none-
Note: hold pointer over special designators for their definition
Scenery:
One of the most famous motorcycle roads in the US is known as Deals Gap ... which is in North Carolina. This scenic drive isn't as dramatic but it sure is good by mid western standards. On this road/route you'll see some of the most beautiful farms in Wisconsin. It will take you through Amish country and a short run in a state park that will remind you a little of Deals Gap.
Road Quality
Very smooth road with a few tar strips in some areas.
Roadside Amenities:
You will travel through several small towns that have plenty of gas and places to grab a bite to eat.
Special Notes:
None.
Directions or Map to this drive:
An online interactive map to La Crosse Wisconsin is available through MapQuest and will help you locate the starting point (or general vicinity) of this scenic drive. Look for the star in the middle of the map.
You can start in La Crosse,WI and head east or start in Reedsburg and head west. The key is to get on SR 33 and have a blast!

Wildcat Mountain area can be a blast - watch for the local po-po, though. Gotta tell you, if you're looking for twisties, you pretty much can't go wrong on any county (lettered) road in that corner of the state...
