One of my closest friends is moving to Chicago in September, and I thought I'd try to help him out by posting here... I hang out in the Windy City sub-forum and know a few of you from there.

Here's what he's looking for:

* Move in around September 1st
* Furnished room (bed, desk, dresser, closet space)
* Walking distance to the El

Preferred location is the near or mid north side, like Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Uptown (i.e. Red/Brown Line), or Wicker Park/Bucktown/Logan Square (i.e. Blue Line).

In short, I would describe him as being:

* Clean but not a neat freak
* Quiet and laid-back but also like to hang out
* Responsible (i.e. will pay bills on time)

I've roomed with him before, and consider him one of the best I've roomed with. Please feel free to PM me with any questions.
