Longtime S2K owner moving back to the Midwest
Hi all,
I've owned my '04 AP2 since early '05; I bought it in Florida and have recently moved back to the shores of Lake Michigan, about 20 miles north of Milwaukee. I drove the car from Florida to Wisconsin and enjoyed the trip immensely.
The Florida S2K club was very active and while I don't suppose the Midwest group is as large I'd be glad to be part of it.
Name's Bill, car's Sebring silver metallic and bone stock save the K&N filter. I'd be happy to attend a meet within 150 miles of Milwaukee!
Looking forward to hearing from everyone.
All the best,
Bill

Hey Bill, welcome to the UMW!!
Maybe I'm biased, but I think we have an absolutely awesome community here, albeit a bit more spread out. Out of all the states / areas contained within the UMW, I'd say Illinois and WI (particularly Chicago and Milwaukee areas) are the most active and therefore have the most meets. That being said, there's still other meets held elsewhere (just this past weekend we had a meet out at Warren Dunes State Park in Michigan).
We look forward to seeing you out at a meet soon!

Welcome to the UMW! I agree with K1ngfunk. We have lots of activities both bbq and racing going on every week, and a great community filled with great people.
I just posted a meet in Sept, a bit farther than 150 miles, but close.
Next weekend there is a meet going on down in Chicago.
Hope to meet you soon!

Hi Bill, welcome back
Where abouts are you located? I'm up in port washington which is about 20 miles north of milwaukee! I generally head down to the Chicago meets, it would be nice to caravan with someone

Thanks, everyone, for the kind intros. Actually, I'm settling in the Port Washington area just north of Milwaukee, so I'll be happy to meet up sometime. I'm in WI now, headed to Minneapolis for the 4th, and should be in Port Washington by the middle of July.
The Florida group was quite large but I'm very happy to be back in the midwest! Too hot down there, from May through October. I'll take some cold for a change, even if it means I have to buy a winter car.
