Learned my lesson

I bought a laptop from a kid off of craigslist once, we met up at a starbucks, said it was brand new never used. it was sealed in the box. Got home, turned it on. opened the browser and saw that there was history saved. I called him out on it and he denied it. One of the pages was facebook, I click on the email box and his email popped up. I found his full name, address and home phone. I called him and he wouldn't pick up, I left him several messages saying I wanted $50 back. He wouldn't answer, so I just told him "ok since you aren't answering I'll just stop by your place at 234 something St., you still live there right?" he returned my call right away lol. I got $50 back.

I bought a HTC phone new from sprint and like a month later it stops working. The screen is unresponsive and it gets all pixelated. The phone was under warrenty so I decided to send it in. Like a week later they tell me it has water damage and I could either pay like 400 for the repair or 50 just because they looked at it. That pissed me off since I never even got it wet, I diden't even want it back and I really diden't wanna pay 50$ just because they opened it up. I ended up arguing with them on the phone and they removed the 50$ charge.
