Red face Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive Cruise August 16th

I'm thinking of hosting an all S2000 event. It was be a cruise on the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive which streches from Waukesha County all the way to Sheboygan and ending at Elkhart Lake aka Road America. Not sure the miles, but its about a 1.5-2 hours cruise. I found out about this drive last year when a VW club I was in did their annual "kettle Kruize." I obtained the map from them and now I want to do it with alot of S2000's. I figure we meet at 9am at the Kracker Barrel in Germantown, people can eat and what not. Then we can head out shortly after.

Date: August 16th
Time: 9am to 12 noon
Where: Cracker Barrel in Germantown (W176n9778 Rivercrest Dr. Germantown, WI 53022)

I will have to double check my calendar, but it sounds like fun. I have added it to the event calendar.

Do this if you can make it.

Last Friday monring I went from near North Prairie, up Rt 83 to Rt 167 then East to Rt 45 up to just South of Fond du Lac and the over all back roads to County J entering Elkhart Lake from the North right onto Lake Street.

If I had known that I had enough time, I'd have stopped in at the Holy Hill Basilica off of 167. Saw a little tornado damage not far from there.

It was early in the morning, did a few miles in the rain with the top down and had an outrageous blast.
We will be passing through that area! It will be a good time...trust me. I thought this would be a good idea for my first S2ki hosted and attended event.

Guys, I am sure you know you can't please everyone all the time. If he changes it to later in the afternoon, or a Sunday, I am SURE there will be someone else who can't make it.

Cut the guy some slack, he has gone out of his way to post up an event, take it for what it is. If you can't make it, I'm sorry, but let's not debate this thread into the ground.

If you'd like to host an event in the afternoon or on a Sunday, I encourage you to post up a different event, and we can go to THAT one too.

I agree. Doing it in the morning tends to work out better. Less people driving on the road too.
