Default The Journey.......

As some of you know I'm relocating to Illinois and attending the Freshwater Tour all in the same week.

Here are some of the pic's I took while driving to the tour.....and my new home!

Theres a lot of pics - 56K dial up users, let the page load! it will take a while but it worth it.

These pictures start when I left California on sun. May 30th, The last pic in this post was today when I arrived in Colfax Iowa June 2nd. The other half will be posted after the Freshwater Tour.

Most were taken while I was in the car, please excuse the insect splatters on the windshield if you see them!

Enjoy! Most owners will never get to do this in there S2000

I-15 leaving Las Vegas

Kinda far away, but in the distance is the Arizona welcome sign

I only went through a few miles through AZ. before I hit the Utah welcome sign

Driving east from the beginning of I-70

This is a fast Interstate - Average speeds are 80Mph due to the lack of traffic

Lots of long sweeping curves, perfect for a roadster.

All of a sudden you drop from 8000 Ft. Elevation to a painted desert in less than 5 minutes...

More beautiful desert.

Temp was 80 degrees and dry outside.

Awesome views -It's too bad such beautiful places are so far from where we live.

Nearing the Utah / Colorado border - still 100 miles of scenery to go.

Between the last picture and this one there wasnt much to see, only Denver (which looks like L.A.) and a bunch of flat prairie as far as the eye can see

Kind of hard to see but thats the "Welcome to Kansas" sign

This pic sums up most of Kansas! it all looks the same - Until you get off the interstate....

Wizard of OZ Museum in Wamego - This is where the scenery gets better and better

These long and winding roads were a lot of fun in a convertable. Lots of scenery and not crowded

Then there is the occasional break while sitting in traffic

Back to buisness!

Just when the scenery was getting better!

And the story ends here till I can post the rest of the pictures.

To be continued!

I should be in Il. tomorrow to sign for my new home, and then I'll post the rest of the pics from the trip to Chicago and the Freshwater Tour.
